Programs

Butterfly Hope programs integrate four components: Natural Science, Gardening, Visual Arts, Expressive Arts. Each year a different cultural focus is woven into hands-on learning opportunities. Painting, weaving, sculpture, singing, drama, story telling, habitat exploration and conservation studies are all a part of the program. Activities encourage self expression through the arts as well as exploration of the natural world in the classroom and the gardens.

In addition, students plan, cultivate and harvest gardens on the school site including a vegetable, habitat, and perennial flower gardens. Parents and teachers are involved in selecting students to participate in the programs. Nothing can compare to seeing the learning and enthusiasm of the children as they experience Butterfly Hope!
